FLYING Magazine Provided to all NAFI members, this highly respected general aviation magazine is a great source of information. NAFI Writing Rewards Program This one's been a long time coming: To say thanks to our dedicated NAFI members who provide the content for Mentor magazine and eMentor newsletter, we're launching a new Writing Rewards Program. Programs
NAFI Master Instructors The Master Instructor designation is a national accreditation that is recognized by the FAA and may be used to renew flight instructor certificates. This renewable designation is granted to aviation educators who are demonstrating an ongoing commitment to excellence, professional growth, and service to the aviation community. It also sets professional standards to which all instructors can aspire.
			NAFI Group Membership The NAFI Group Membership highlights those flight schools that are dedicated to providing high quality instruction and have instructors who are in touch with the flight instruction community. To have highly qualified instructors who regularly keep up-to-date on flight instruction community developments allows a flight training organization’s staff to provide the best training possible to its customers. To promote your instruction efforts in this way allows training organization’s to showcase the increased level of involvement their instructors have within the flight instruction community. Those entities that are group members of NAFI receive special benefits that include a number of memberships for the flight instructors they employ, listings on NAFI’s webpage as NAFI Group Member flight training organizations, listings within NAFI partner industry resources, complimentary access to AirVenture each year, and many more benefits. Representation
Government Representation NAFI is well respected in Washington, DC as the representative of the flight instructor community. NAFI keeps a close watch on FAA actions and proposals, and coordinates with the FAA to ensure the best interest of flight instructors.

Recognition
National Recognition Quality instructors deserve national recognition. NAFI provides significant support within the national General Aviation Awards program and specifically the Certificated Flight Instructor of the Year selection process. In addition, the association founded and administers the Flight Instructor Hall of Fame. With annual inductions taking place in Oshkosh, WI, this has proven to be the crowning achievement for professional aviation educators.
